Sexual Self-Evaluation
- Has your interest in or desire for sex been decreased before or since you began taking antidepressants?
- Men, do you have difficulty maintaining an erection?
- Do you have a sense of numbness or reduced sensitivity in your genital area when touched?
- Do you find that you rarely or never achieve orgasm or that it takes more time to achieve?
- Men, do you have difficulty with penetration? Women, do you find intercourse painful because you've had a change
in lubrication during sex?
- Is your intimate relationship, or willingness to get involved in a relationship, being affected by any sexual
problems?
- Do you feel unconcerned about your lack of a sex life?
If you answered yes to any of these questions, you may be experiencing a side effect of antidepressants or be
suffering from an undiagnosed problem that affects your sexuality.
