Workshop Held On: Feb. 1, 2012

ADD/ADHD (Attention Deficit Disorder without and with Hyperactivity) is so frequently diagnosed, that many of our children, at young ages, are on stimulant medications, without a clear knowledge of the long term benefits and side effects. While ADD/ADHD can wreak havoc on a childs self esteem (academically and socially) It behooves us to be certain that the diagnosis is correct, what diagnoses can appear to be ADD/ADHD, and what non-medicinal approaches can be helpful.

In this workshop you will learn:

  1. How can you know it's ADD/ADHD
  2. If it's not ADD, what can it be?
  3. What we know and do not know about long term use of stimulants
  4. Hormonal, nutritional, and familial causes
  5. Other Alternatives to medication
